North Sails produce some of the very best Optimist sails in the World. The North Sails development team are second to none, you can be confident that your Optimist P5 sail from North is the very best. The P5 sail has been specifically designed to suit sailors over the weight of 42kg. It is possible for sailors under 42kg to get great results from the sail but it will be a little more challenging.
SailngFast Optimist sails are supplied with numbers fitted, the blue button and the sail is measured.
The P5 is presently being used by Callum Airlie, GBR Optimist Champion 2009 & 2010.
The North P5 is an all round sail with more power in the sail head. The sail does have a bias for lighter winds, but when depowered properly the sail can still perform well in the stronger winds.
